Question:

Can you give us advice on how to handle sponsorships that get sold but are not going to count in the campaign? We want to be able to mark the sponsorship sold, but not to have the total show up in our campaign total. Please advise. Thanks.

Answer:

Any contract that is marked with a Date Sold that falls OUTSIDE any of the campaign weeks is not counted in the campaign total.

This is by design since several Chambers have requested to ‘hide’ or ‘not count’ some contracts as part of the campaign – but still want to use the system to track contracts.

Example 1: Update Contract to Sold, then change the Date Sold

Campaign runs Mar 1 through April 30.

If you mark a contract as sold with a Sold Date of May 1 (or later), then that contract will not be included in the campaign total since “technically” that contract was not sold during the campaign.

To mark a contract as sold and then set the date sold, edit the contract, click Update Contract Status. If you change the status to “Approved (SOLD!)” then you will see the date there. It will default to today. Update the date as needed.

TIP: Run the Leaderboard to find which contracts are not being counted in the campaign total.

Example 2: Contract already marked as sold, change the Date Sold

If a contract already has a status of “Approved (SOLD!)” then you can also update the Date Sold by editing the contract and scrolling down to the Date Sold field.

Hi everyone! We’re excited to announce that we’ve updated EasyTRC to v2.10 with some exciting new features that many of you have requested in the past year.

We’ve added several new features to help with prospecting including business classifications, a Do Not Call list, and a company search feature.

We’ve added a new report, tied everything to Facebook, and even let you change what you call your users – salespeople, volunteers, salesketeers, whatever you want!

We’re also happy to schedule a quick demo to show off the new features to you and your staff.

Give us a call and enjoy!

New Features in EasyTRC v2.10

Login using Facebook. No more separate user/password to remember.

Facebook profile pictures now appear on the leaderboard and everywhere you see a salesperson’s name

Company Search can now be found on the SELL tab, right next to Product Search and the Sell Renewals tabs

New Report: Available Products – shows list of sold, pending, and available products and sponsorships. Listed by event, publication, etc so now you can see who bought the golf tournament presenting sponsorship, who bought each table at the winter formal party, or how many sponsorship levels are still not sold for the annual dinner meeting.

Can now record number of full time and part time employees for each company

Added Business Classifications; assign however many classifications you want to each company

Also, a full salesperson training video has been posted to YouTube.

It is about 26 minutes long. Please call us to get the link.

Administrators can now hide their Total Resource Campaign’s grand sales total

We’re pleased to announce the addition of another feature requested directly from our great chamber of commerce clients! When a TRC is getting near the end, campaign administrators can now choose to hide the grand total from all the salespeople. This can help build suspense and keep volunteers focused on selling instead of laying back when the campaign goal has been reached.

The best part is that the salespeople can still login, manage their sales, and see their individual sales totals – so they’ll know if they have qualified for incentives and trips. The campaign administrator can still see the grand total in the admin only area to make sure everything adds up for the big reveal at the victory celebration.

What is hidden?

It's now very easy to hide the campaign total so you can keep it a secret for the "big reveal"

We’re also happy to announce that several new features and tweaks have been made to the system in the past few months. Here are some highlights of 2.9 build 21725
1) The most requested item is the ability to HIDE THE CAMPAIGN TOTAL from salespeople when you get near the end of your campaign. This option can be found in the CAMPAIGNS area on the Admin side.
2) We’ve moved the menu in the admin area to the left hand side – this gets rid of the issues some people were having in the reports section.
3) We’ve added a “weekly sales report” to help get an accurate account of sales.
4) We added division goals to the system.
5) You can now send an initial email blast to all users at the beginning of your campaign that tells them their username and provides a link for them to change their password
6) LOTS of speed improvements. Need more? Let us know.
7) A bug in an update of Internet Explorer 9 broke sales splitting, so we fixed it.
8) Admin Area: User can now search for contracts using more fields including number, status, buyer, salesperson, and product name
9) Selling a new membership is now ridiculously easier
10) Added a new contract status: PENDING PAYMENT

EasyTRC is pleased to announce the addition of a new features requested directly by clients.

The sales leaderboard can now be made public to the world.

EasyTRC Sales Leaderboard (click for larger image)

Plus, you can display it with the styling that comes with EasyTRC or a “skinnable” version that just exports the data and takes on any styling you wish to use. This “skinnable” version means that EasyTRC now allows you to embed your Total Resource Campaign leaderboard directly into your Chamber’s website or your TRC campaign website.

You can provide links to specific weeks or the very latest leaderboard.

How Do I Do This?

Load up the leaderboard in your browser. Now just add “&public=skinnable” to the end of the web address. This is the link you can include anywhere.

To point people to a specific week’s leaderboard example: http://demo.easytrc.com/2010-trc-2/campaign-leaderboard?id=17&public=skinnable .

To point people to the latest week’s leaderboard, just drop off the “id=” part. So the address becomes: http://demo.easytrc.com/2010-trc-2/campaign-leaderboard?public=skinnable

This works great for WordPress pages!

Skinnable EasyTRC Sales Leaderboard (click for larger image)

Everything is classed so skinning using CSS should be relatively easy, but we’re happy to help in any way we can. Check out an example

Other updates included in v2.5.11

New renewal prospecting and renewal exception reports.

New investment product type.

Major cleanups to product information code on sales side for all simple product types.

Public campaign leaderboard option available for instances that want it.

Don’t Run a TRC? Great! This System Tracks Contracts for Your Inside Salespeople

EasyTRC is a complete contract management system

EasyTRC is a contract manager that allows your professional organization to handle the flood of contracts that go with memberships and sponsorships of events and publications. Originally built to help the hundreds of volunteer salespeople enlisted in Total Resource Campaign efforts of Chambers of Commerce and Associations, EasyTRC has been found to greatly help the inside sales staff of organizations with the task of contract management.
